Malawi National Women’s Football Team striker Temwa Chawinga continues to hog the limelight in China after scoring seven goals in two cup matches.

Temwa netted a brace as Wuhan defeated Quangxi 4-1 on Monday, three days after scoring five goals in a 13-0 victory over Fuoshan.

The seven goals have taken Temwa to the summit of the goal scorers’ chart in the Chinese Women’s FA Cup.The Malawian is also the leading goal scorer in the Chinese Women’s Super League with 10 goals this season.

Following the two victories, Wuhan are top of Group C with six points from two matches.The 24-year old said she was excited with her performance.

’’It feels great to score seven goals in two matches. Everything is good here. I am determined to win more trophies with the team,’’ she said.
