CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUATER-FINAL DRAW
Arsenal will discover their Champions League quarter-final opponents later today. The Gunners have not progressed this far in the competition since the 2009/10 campaign and fans across the world will be eager to see who the club get in the draw.
Mikel Arteta's side knocked FC Porto out on Tuesday night following a nervy penalty shootout at Emirates Stadium. A Leandro Trossard goal ensured the Gunners won 1-0 on the night, with David Raya the hero after 120 minutes.
The draw for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League will take place in Switzerland at 11am on Friday. Importantly, there are no seeding or country limitations so Arsenal can be drawn against fellow Premier League side Manchester City.
Other potential opponents include Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. Quarter-final first legs are scheduled to take place April 9/10, then second legs would be played the following week on April 16/17.
